My name is Zack, I am only 15 years old but my family is in desperate need for help. About 10 years ago, we lost our fish business in Seattle. Therefor that lead to us losing our house too. I was only about 4 years old when all of this was going on. We moved from a pretty big 3 story house to a small 2 bedroom apartment. We lived in that apartment with 7 people living there. Me, my mom, my dad, my grandma, my brother, my uncle and his son for about 4 or 5 years. In 2005 my dad got injured on the job (construction) helping lift a guy in a wheelchair upstairs. He is currently on L&I and has been for the past 5 years without a job. Also, in the past 5 years, we have moved 4 or 5 more times since that apartment. For a while my mom was working 3 jobs just to keep things going, but then she got laid off on 1 of them so she is now currently working 2. She works as a baker/cashier at an elementary school and also at rite aid. She works about 12-14 hours 6-7 days a week. It seems like everyday something else goes wrong. We currently have 3 cars, but only one that is half way reliable. My mom drives a 1978 ford granada (one of the ugliest cars out there). She bought it for about 500 bucks because thats all we can afford. And not only that but i was helping her organize her bills last night and calculated everything that she owed and saw that it was over 12,000 dollars. My grandma is in about the same position as we are. I am doing everything i can right now to help out, since i am only 15, i am doing a paper route and only getting 50 dollars a month.
